Nour Elglaly

Nour Elglaly is an Egyptian contemporary artist, born in 1998, whose practice explores the psychological, social, and philosophical dimensions of contemporary life through a distinctive visual language that combines satire, symbolism, and popular culture. By appropriating cartoon imagery and recontextualizing familiar visual references, his paintings examine the contradictions embedded in modern society, creating layered narratives that oscillate between humor and critique. His work investigates themes of identity, consumer culture, collective memory, and the shifting relationship between reality and representation.

Elglaly received his B.A. from the Faculty of Art Education at Helwan University and is currently working on his M.A. in the Painting Department.
