Hend Adnan

Hend Adnan is a Syrian- Egyptian artist based in Cairo , Adnan received her B.A. from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo 1992. Adnan treasures the ability to work freely in oil colors and with live models, respecting shadows in all their forms, working on psycological moods and feelings into realistic representations and colours that bring together all the characteristics of oil colors with an emphasis on texture.
The model in Adnan ‘s work is the source and the base of the artwork. Every work is an interpretation of one of the emotions and moods that is hidden by the model features. The success of an artwork depends on its ability of transferring this invisible impression to the viewer then he became a positive participant into the painting.
